Sandy cliff top or rocky cliff face ?
Peata Ruadh loves his burrow in the sandy cliff tops. He loves the feel of the grass and the smell of the wild flowers. The other puffins are never too far away. Especially Papa Puffin. There is always a friend to listen. But best of all he has a spectacular view out to the wide wide sea.
Burrows in the grassy cliff tops are busy with nesting puffins. The Puffins have very close neighbours and definitely chat to each other a lot!
Burrows in the cracks and gaps on the cliff face make a safe place for nesting puffins. It is not so easy to see neighbouring puffins but they still chat to whichever puffin wants to listen.
