Fiona Hulbert took a stunning trip, sailing to the beautiful Treshnish Isles with Alternative Boat Hire to watch Puffins.
Sailing to the Treshnish Isles, on the red sailing boat, with a delicious packed lunch to spend a few idilic hours watching the puffins is a breathtaking experience, to be locked into memories.
Lying flat on my stomach, eyes level with orange feet and decsending Puffins, I watch these amazing birds coming into land and returning to their burrows. Looking puffins right in the eye, knowing that I have written a strory to explain what they are doing right in front of me is really special.

A Rare White Puffin is Sighted

Evidence of Hatched Pufflings
Puffins make their nests in burrows underground. So when the puffins go into their burrows to lay their one egg, it is very difficult to see what is happening in their life cycle. Being a detective puffin spotter is really important at this time of year.
